Signing in

Sign in to Vetrix with your username or email and your password. If your account has two-factor authentication turned on, Vetrix also prompts you for a one-time code. Where an instance offers sign-in providers, you can use one of those instead.

Where to find it: Go to gitvetrix.com/login. You also arrive here whenever you open a page that requires an account while you are signed out.

Sign in with a password

  1. Open the Sign in to Vetrix page.
  2. In Username or email, enter your username or the email address on your account.
  3. In Password, enter your password.
  4. Select Sign in.

Vetrix signs you in and takes you to the page you were heading for, or to your default landing page.

If your username or password is wrong, Vetrix shows Invalid credentials. Please try again. without saying which field was incorrect. Re-enter your details and try again.

Enter a two-factor code

If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, a Two-factor code field appears after you submit your username and password, and the button changes to Verify code.

  1. Open the authenticator app you set up for your account and read the current 6-digit code.
  2. Enter the code in Two-factor code.
  3. Select Verify code.

Codes change every few seconds, so enter the code that is showing when you submit.

Sign in with a provider

If your instance connects to external sign-in providers, a divider labeled or continue with and one Continue with button per provider appear below the form.

  1. Select the Continue with button for the provider you want to use.
  2. Sign in with that provider and approve the requested access.
  3. Vetrix returns you to the site and signs you in.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid credentials. Please try again. — the username or password did not match. If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot password? next to the Password field and follow the reset steps.
  • If Vetrix reports that it cannot reach the sign-in service, wait a moment and try again, or contact your administrator if the problem continues.
  • Don't have an account yet? Select Sign up at the bottom of the page to register.
